Boxes

Boxes are a quarter-century long interest of mine. Out of 30 or so boxes, here are some examples. I enjoy making all sorts of boxes–from exotic hardwoods to simple veneered plywood sides. The box functions include for storing jewelry, pencils or “stuff.” I have gradually moved from using mostly electric tools to mostly hand. It’s quieter and quite satisfying. That includes hand-sharpening planes and chisels needed for making baby-smooth surfaces in wood.
