Processes
This post shows my two-board “weaving” process. The example uses maple and walnut blanks and weaves a random curve pattern between them. Typically, a thin strip of hardwood is laminated into the saw kerf in order to improve the strength of the glue up. The thin strips also add artistic interest. To follow the board weaving process, click on the first picture and then "photo-swipe" through the album.
